Welcome

Many of you know I have accepted God's call to move to Haiti as a medical missionary. I will be serving in the Holy Spirit Clinic in Croix des Bouquets, just outside of Port-au-Prince. The Primary Care Clinic was established 10 years ago by the Haiti Medical Missions of Memphis. Since the earthquake, they opened a rehabilitation clinic to care for those that were injured or have disabilities. 

An estimated 200,000 amputations were done following the January earthquake not to mention many other types of crush injuries. Therapy is a foreign concept in a place like Haiti where those with disabilities are told they can no longer work or be an active contributor to their families or community. My goal is to bring hope to those with disabilities by training and empowering local workers to be able to bring basic rehabilitation services to their community while sharing the love I have found in Christ.
